Meeting 9/21/2022 call to order by Beth Tiffany 5:40PM Roll call:, Beth Tiffany, Marylou Dodge, Elaine Wood Guests: Hillary Ballante Guest speak time - no comment Meeting minutes from 8/31/2022 motion to approve Elaine Wood and second by MaryLou Dodge , all in favor Yes, ● Barley Straw Project - Next step is to remove Barley bags, yet to be determined when - Paul could not attend this meeting but he emailed info ● Solitude treated the pond 7/26 for nuisance weeds - Mayor signed off last week per Gary. Invoice from Gary for $2150 all work pertaining to herbicide treatment. Waiting for invoice from Solitude. ● Open meeting law training has been completed by Beth, Amy & Elaine, Marylou Kisha so far. A reminder for Paul. Have to fill out form when done and send to Barbara Labombard ● Bonnie McCloud resigned per email Lindsi Mailler 9/20. We now have an open position on the committee. Hillary will apply. Kisha is planning on resigning. ● Beth learning how to do the newsletter, graphics for posters, www. & Timely for Winterfest - & FB. Beth worked with Kisha on how to do newsletter and www a bit, need to practice. Winterfest ● Have to start to vet with the sponsorship list - Amy & Beth - please anyone to add to it. ● We need to think of a theme - it’s 10 years. Ideas, ten years, a decade; WinTENfest, Decadence, Decorate for a Decade, Donate for a Decade, Decade theme party ● Someone has to learn how to do the Timely APP for Winterfest ● Beth got in touch with Erin at Keystone and we are good to go OK for West and East, we are responsible for labor costs, so setup, breakdown & staffing - get back to her and ask about this- Beth. we have Boylston Room west for gala and East room for events - perhaps the Magic show, dance etc ..everyone to think on activities ● In May - checked on Gala until 2023 Winterfest - Beth to checked with the band, Boylston Rooms & meyers. Erin to check with James & Kelley about hallway for vendors. 9/12/22- Beth spoke with James at Keystone 9/21/2022, he said we are good to go.- Beth to follow up ● Elaine to check with Silver Spoon on Hot choc at 50 Payson ave. 11 - 3. ● Boni at Wedgeworks said last year to let her know how to have the businesses involved.
