CHOCTAW AVENUE – EL RENO, OKLAHOMA MINUTES A CALL MEETING TO ORDER Mayor Jensen called the meeting to order at 12:00 (noon). B ROLL CALL Present: Amy Neathery, Council Member, Ward 1 Pete Stapperfend, Council Member, Ward 2 Steve Jensen, Mayor David Black, Vice-Mayor, Ward 3 Dr. Brian Shafer, Council Member, Ward 4 Staff Present: Jana Knott, City Attorney Tim Young, Assistant City Manager/Finance Director Matt Sandidge, City Manager Zachary McLemore, I.T. Director Katie Gore, Executive Assistant C EXECUTIVE SESSION; Consider convening into Executive Session for the purpose of the following: 1. Confidential communications between the City Council and its attorney concerning , The City of El Reno v. Chaparral Energy, LLC. CV-2021- 394, District Court of Canadian County, Oklahoma, as the City Council, with the advice of its attorney, has determined that disclosure will seriously impair the ability of the Council to process the litigation in the public interest, pursuant to Title 25 O.S. § 307(B)(4), and take action in open session. Convened in Executive Session at 12:02pm. Reconvened in Open Session at 12:20pm. Stapperfend MOVED, SECONDED by Black to Convene in Executive Session. VOTE WAS: AYE: Neathery, Stapperfend, Jensen, Black, Shafer NAY: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. Mayor Jensen declared motion CARRIED by a vote of 5 to 0 with 0 absent. Chaparral Energy, CV-2021-370 pending in District Court of Canadian County, and allow City Manager and City Attorney to sign all documents associated thereto. VOTE WAS: AYE: Neathery, Stapperfend, Jensen, Black, Shafer NAY: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. Mayor Jensen declared motion CARRIED by a vote of 5 to 0 with 0 absent.
