A. Shales Parkway and East Side Streets 2026 Resurfacing Project – Resolution for Improve-
ment Under the Illinois Highway Code ($2,000,000)
Objective: Provide funding for the construction of the Shales Parkway and East Side
Streets 2026 Resurfacing Project and for the project’s construction engineering services
using proceeds from the Illinois Motor Fuel Tax Fund.
B. 2026 Shales Parkway and East Side Streets Resurfacing Project—Construction Engineer-
ing Services Agreement with Fehr Graham ($170,396)
Objective: Provide field inspection, design interpretation, contract administration includ-
ing all required Motor Fuel Tax documentation, and general coordination and control of
the day-to-day construction activities for the resurfacing of various residential streets for
the 2026 Shales Parkway and East-side Streets Resurfacing Project.
C. McClure Avenue Resurfacing Project—Construction Engineering Services with Engineer-
ing Enterprises, Inc. (EEI), Amendment No. 2 ($249,997)
Objective: Provide field inspection, design interpretation, contract administration, and
general coordination and control of the day-to-day construction activities for the resurfac-
ing of various residential streets for the McClure Avenue 2026 Resurfacing Project.
D. Public Works Facility Credentialed Gate Access System—Purchase Agreement with
United Door & Dock ($27,604)
Objective: Install a new, credentialed gate access system for the public works facility exte-
rior lot area.

E. Heavy-Duty Vehicle Lift—Purchase Agreement with Vehicle Service Group, LLC ($35,360)
Objective: Provide the public works department’s fleet services division with a heavy-duty
vehicle lift supporting the city’s recently established fire fleet maintenance operation at
Fire Station 7.
F. School Resource Officer (SRO) Agreement with School District U-46 ($613,110)
Objective: Provide a police presence within schools to promote student and staff safety
and security.
