NEW BUSINESS 1. Mayor Robertson – Discussion Only – State of the City address 2. Mayor Robertson – rPlus Hydro representative – Discussion Only – Presentation regarding White Pine Pumped Storage Project’s Application for a License for Major Unconstructed Project with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). 3. Mayor Robertson – Discussion/For Possible Action – Review of Ice Plant Park Exhibit for the City of Ely’s vacant property on Belfort Avenue, APN 001-121-01,with possible determination of terms for the City Attorney to include in a deed to future housing developer(s) and approval to order an appraisal on said property. 4. Councilman Carson - Discussion/For Possible Action – Approval to order new lift Station System in the amount of $240,000, to be included in the City’s FY24 budget. 5. Councilman Alworth – Councilwoman Elliott– Discussion Only – Update on Porter Group efforts on the City of Ely’s behalf to secure federal and State funding. 6. Council Members – City Engineer Almberg – Discussion/For Possible Action - Approval of Agreement for Reimbursement of Preliminary Engineering Costs between the State of Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and the City of Ely in connection with Phase II of NDOT’s Ely Downtown Renovation project. 7. Council Members – City Clerk Lee – Discussion Only – Review of written request to the State of Nevada Department of Administration regarding the implementation of an After Hours Usage hourly charge to cover utility expenses at 125 Mill Street. 8. (e) Permit a closed meeting for the discussion of the appointment of any person to public office or as a member of a public body.
