Board Members – Discussion/For Possible Action – Approval of Class II Liquor Licenses to Richard Miller, DBA Miller’s Ely 1 located at 1100 Aultman Street, Ely, Nevada; Ely 2 located at 909 East Aultman Street, Ely, Nevada; and Ely 3 located at 1690 Great Basin Boulevard, Ely, Nevada. 2. Board Members – Discussion/For Possible Action – Approval of Class IV Liquor License to Robert James Park d.b.a. Mayor Robertson – Discussion/For Possible Action – Approval of Activities Authorization Agreement between the City of Ely and Legacy Racing Association to cross City-owned APN 009-36-003 for an off-road race June 29th, 2024. 2. Councilman Trask – Discussion/For Possible Action - Approval of Resolution 2024-03, permitting sexual oriented entertainment with special event application to the City of Ely pending passage of an ordinance regulating such activity. 3. Councilman Carson – Discussion/For Possible Action – Approval to allocate $400,000 for street improvements from Community Service Funds committed to infrastructure. 4. Councilman Alworth – White Pine Chamber of Commerce CEO Shadrach Robertson – Discussion/For Possible Action - Approval to provide financial support to the Downtown Ely Visitor Center from current fiscal year Community Support Funds not to exceed $25,000.00. 5. Councilman Alworth – Discussion/For Possible Action – Approval to allocate in the FY25 budget a portion of the City of Ely’s monthly room tax received to the Downtown Ely Visitor Center, not to exceed three percent (3%), to be distributed monthly via Accounts Payable. 6. Councilwoman Williams-Harper – Discussion Only – White Pine Chamber of Commerce monthly report. 7. (4) The exception provided by this section, and electronic communication, must not be used to circumvent the spirit or letter of this chapter in order to discuss or act upon a matter over which the public body has supervision, control, jurisdiction or advisory powers.
