VILLAGE OF ENOSBURG FALLS Meeting of the Board of Trustees July 7, 2022 Present: Sam Vaillancourt (5:38), Eli Gabuzda, Sandra Ferland, Leonard Charron, Heather Moore Staff – John Dasaro, Abbey Miller Guests – Brian Dawicki (NWTV) Meeting was called to order by Heather Moore at 5:30 PM 1. Modifications/Changes to Agenda Other business was added after Item #3. 2. Public Comment There was no public comment. 3. Discussion and Approval of Electric Department Rate Case. *The meeting was turned over to Sam Vaillancourt at 5:41pm* After a follow up discussion regarding use of ARPA funding and the Village Electric Department moving forward with a rate increase to be filed on July 15, 2022, a motion was made by Eli Gabuzda authorizing the implementation of a 1.97% rate increase effective on September 1, 2022 and approving the plan for ARPA fund use. Seconded by Heather Moore. Unanimous. 4. Other Business Finance Director Abbey Miller advised the Trustees that the Flashing Crosswalk Beacons were in and wanted to clarify that the locations for the Beacons were going to be Main Street at Dickinson Ave after the new crosswalk goes in and on Main Street at the Rail Trail crossing. The Trustees confirmed those were the two locations they wanted the Beacons. Abbey Miller also advised the Trustees to send in any other topics for the agenda for the joint meeting on July 20th with the Enosburgh Town Select Board. There was a brief discussion about the lack of enforcement and some complaints regarding traffic and noise. It was decided this would be a good discussion to continue at the joint meeting. 5. Adjourn There being no other business to come before the Board at this time, Eli Gabuzda made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Leonard Charron. The meeting adjourned at 5:58pm.
