CALL MEETING TO ORDER Hearing Officer Ablao called the May 6, 2019 Liquor License Authority meeting to order at 3:31 pm. II. GENERAL BUSINESSS 19-237 PUBLIC HEARING - Application for Recertification of the Briggs Entertainment Association, LLC, P.O. Box 682, Erie, Colorado, 80516 Attachments: Recertification Application Hearing Officer Ablao opened the Public Hearing for the application for the recertification of the Briggs Entertainment Association, LLC, at 3:31 pm. Katy Dukes, Managing Member of the Briggs Entertainment Association, LLC, was sworn in by Hearing Officer Ablao. Katy Dukes provided testimony on set up, security, proof of neighborhood desire and need, and confirmation of dates and times. No one was present that wished to give public comment. Hearing Officer Ablao closed the Public Hearing at 3:58 pm. Hearing Officer Ablao found that the public notice was properly posted, that the application shows that the statutory and municipal code requirements have been met, the security arrangements are adequate, and that she did not believe the common consumption area would create a safety concern or violate conditions set forth in the Colorado Revised Statutes. Hearing Officer Ablao approved the recertification of the Briggs Entertainment District, LLC, for the dates and times detailed in their application contingent on a liquor liability Certificate of Insurance naming the Town as additionally insured, the use of wrist bands to allow security and police officers to easily identify those over the age of 21, and the requirement that all members will individually card each person by or before May 16, 2019. III.
