Agenda with modification approved unanimously. Approval of Minutes from 9/5/2018 regular meeting and 9/19 Study Session Approved unanimously. Public Comment None. New Business Partners in Energy (PiE) presentation by Ellie Troxell (from Brendle Group/Xcel) and Katie Hansen - Assistant to the Town Administrator - Communications & Marketing (Bill Meier from United Power also in attendance) Completed planning (6 mos) in Feb 2018 and are in implementation phase (18 mos) Energy Action Plan included school districts, town staff, chamber, and others. Green Business Program New Construction Municipal Leadership Member Reports Monali – Earth Day / Arbor Day event Monali is now connected with the Tree board point of contact. Tom to dig up list of prior vendors. Tom – EV Pilot for the Town of Erie Tom meeting Friday morning with Phil and Anna and Town Staff. Tom – Leaf Composting Events – Nov 3rd and 18th Leaves go to local farmer Tree board connection Community building Need volunteers for helping with bags as well as communication Can we gather additional volunteers 2-3 each? We hope to have Todd and/or Raelynn join. Todd & Raelynn have discussed and current staff position is they would much rather add pickups instead of bins. Also push educational piece. Recently had another load contamination issue. We should work with Katie around a Communication strategy around these things with content created. It would be good to perhaps have a quarterly communication strategy for the board so that we can have items like recycling center updates, leaf composting, arbor day, etc on the radar.
