CALL MEETING TO ORDER Madam Chair Carroll called the September 24, 2019 Urban Renewal Authority meeting to order at 6:35 pm. II. ROLL CALL & PLEDGE OF ALLIGENCE Present 7- Scott Charles, Geoff Deakin, Jennifer Carroll, Dan Woog, Bill Gippe, Christiaan van Woudenberg, and Tina Harris Absent 2- Adam Haid, and John Ahrens III. APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Commissioner Deakin moved to approve the agenda; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Charles. The motion carried with all present voting in favor thereof. Aye: 7- Commissioner Charles, Commissioner Deakin, Chairperson Carroll, Commissioner Woog, Commissioner Gippe, Commissioner van Woudenberg, and Commissioner Harris IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION 6:50 PM TOWN OF ERIE Page 1 Printed on 10/31/2019 Urban Renewal Authority Meeting Minutes - Final September 24, 2019 19-467 An executive session to hold a conference with the Authority’s Attorney to receive legal advice on specific legal questions, pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b) and to determine positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations, develop a strategy for negotiations, and/or instruct negotiators, pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e), concerning the Disposition of the Sixth Development Agreement for Nine Mile Commissioner Deakin moved to go into an executive session to hold a conference with the Authority’s Attorney to receive legal advice on specific legal questions, pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b) and to determine positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations, develop a strategy for negotiations, and/or instruct negotiators, pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e), concerning the Disposition of the Sixth Development Agreement for Nine Mile The motion was seconded by Commissioner Charles. Also present at this executive session are the entire Urban Renewal Authority, Urban Renewal Authority Attorney Carolynne C. White, Economic Development Manager Ben Pratt, and Town Administrator Malcolm Fleming. Madam Chair Carroll annouced; the time is 7:05 pm, and the executive session has been concluded. For the record, if any person who participated in the executive session believes that any substantial discussion of any matters not included in the motion to go into the executive session occurred during the executive session, or that any action occurred during the executive session in violation of the Open Meetings Law, I would ask that you state your concerns for the record. RESOLUTIONS 7:05 PM 19-468 A Resolution of the Urban Renewal Authority of the Town of Erie Approving the Sixth Amendment to the Disposition and Development Agreement for the Nine Mile Project Attachments: Resolution Nine-Mile Sixth Amendment to DDA Commissioner Harris moved to continue Agenda Item 19-468 to the October 8, 2019 Urban Renewal Authority meeting. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Woog. The motion carried with all present voting in favor thereof.
