7. AMENDING TRAFFIC SCHEDULE FOR STOP SIGNS
Request the City Council approve to adopt Resolution No. 2022-159, amending the traffic
schedule for stop signs to add all-way stop control at the intersections of Vista Avenue and Mc
Geary Road and at Escondido Boulevard and Decatur Way. (File Number 1050-50)

8. EMERGENCY REPAIR OF THE SEWER PIPELINE IN NORTH HALE AVENUE
Request the City Council approve to adopt Resolution No. 2022-167, wherein the City Council
affirms that it was not in session at the time of an emergency and it was appropriate for the
City Manager, in his role as the Director of Emergency Services, to execute a Public
Improvement Agreement pursuant to Chapter 7 and Section 10-80 of the Escondido Municipal
Code, after finding and proclaiming that an emergency existed wherein an immediate
emergency contract was required for repairs of a sewer main section in Hale Avenue, between
Simpson Way and Industrial Avenue. The resolution also declares that public interest and
necessity demand the immediate expenditure of public funds to safeguard life, health, or
