APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Regular Meeting of March 22, 2023 4. WAIVER OF READING OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS – 5. FISCAL YEAR 2022 STATE OF CALIFORNIA PASS THROUGH GRANT AND BUDGET ADJUSTMENT Request the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2023-38 authorizing the Escondido Fire Department to accept Fiscal Year 2022 State of California Pass Through funds in the amount of $250,000; authorize the Fire Chief or his designee to execute the subrecipient documents on behalf of the City; and approve budget adjustments needed to create a project code and spend the funds to refurbish the fire training facility and address infrastructure needs. BUREAU OF STATE AND COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 OFFICER WELLNESS AND MENTAL HEALTH GRANT AND BUDGET ADJUSTMENT Request the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2023-39, authorizing the Escondido Police Department to accept a Bureau of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) FY 2022-23 Officer Wellness and Mental Health Grant in the amount of $94,781.16; authorize the Chief of Police or his designee to execute grant documents on behalf of the City; and approve budget adjustments needed to spend grant funds.
