Review and Approve the minutes from the September 12, 2024 meeting Motion made by Trustee Reyes Seconded by Trustee Clemens. Approved 4-0 (Schwab - Absent) CURRENT BUSINESS 2. Building Forward: Library Infrastructure Grant Project A progress update on the $10 million library infrastructure state-grant project. Presenter(s): Ed Vasquez, Project Manager; Robert Rhoades, Assistant Director of Community Services 3. Discussion and possible vote on a recommendation to City that the entire EPL staff, now funded with ARPA grant money, be kept intact to ensure the best possible service during the building shutdown and to enable a smooth reopening. Presenter: John Schwab, Board Member – President Bunnell provided an update Motion made by Trustee Reyes Seconded by President Bunnell. Trustee Reyes - Looking forward to Echoes of Change and Genealogy drop ins President Bunnell shared her experience with re-activation of library card being easy and user friendly Trustee Clemens - Shared she was able to check out the same books as her parents did in Texas Secretary Bova - Visited Grape Day Festival booth and loved it; Shared about a recent visit to Ohio and the utilization of poles with signs for the library ADJOURNMENT Meeting Adjourned at 6:58 p.m. UPCOMING MEETING SCHEDULE 7.
