Eugene’s Historic Review Board (HRB) welcomes your interest in these agenda items. Feel free to
come and go as you please at any of the meetings. This meeting location is wheelchair‐accessible.

I. INTRODUCTIONS AND ELECTIONS
Introduce Heather Kliever as newly appointed HRB member and Nan Zhao, Historic
Preservation Intern. Hold Chair and Vice‐Chair elections for the coming year.
II. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
Opportunity for audience members to speak to the HRB on historic preservation issues.
III. DRAFT URBAN DESIGN GUIDE AND ARCHITECTURAL STATEMENT
Overview of the City’s Draft Urban Design Guide, with review and discussion of the
Architectural Character Statement.
IV. ENCOURAGING SUSTAINABLE APPROACHES TO POTENTIAL DEMOLITION
Discussion of recent demolition permit process improvements, draft informational
pamphlet, and lessons learned from recent examples.
V. UPDATE ON CLG GRANT WORK
Info share on the progress of grant projects including the updated Fairmount
Neighborhood Cultural Resource Survey and digitizing records for on‐line use.
VI. ITEMS FROM THE BOARD OR STAFF
Opportunity for info share, announcements, and an update from the HRB’s Planning
Commission representative.
