PUBLIC HEARING/ACTION: EXTRATERRITORIAL EXTENSION PROCEDURES Staff: Steve Nystrom, 682-8385 CA 08-1: Amendment of the Land Use Code (Chapter 9) to revise the procedures for review of extraterritorial extension applications. Public Hearing Format: 1. Staff presentation: Steve Nystrom 2. Open public hearing. 3. Questions from the Planning Commission. 4. Close public hearing. II. PUBLIC FORUM: SOUTH RIDGELINE HABITAT STUDY Staff: Neil Bjorklund, 682-5507 The Eugene Planning Commission will hold a public forum, and subsequently recommend to the City Council, action on the Citizen Task Group proposal regarding strategies for conservation of habitat along the ridgeline of the South Hills. The proposal emphasizes acquisition only from willing sellers and the use of incentive-based approaches and other voluntary mechanisms.
