APPROVED:5/6/2021 MINUTES Local Planning Agency Meeting 5:50 PM - Thursday, April 1, 2021 - City Hall CALL TO ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF QUORUM AND PROPER NOTICE PRESENT: Member Nan Cobb, Member Willie Hawkins, Vice Chair Emily Lee, Member Karen LeHeup-Smith and Chairman Michael L. Holland 1. CONSIDERATION INCLUDING DISCUSSION, PUBLIC HEARING AND RECOMMENDATION 1.1 Small-Scale Future Land Use Map Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan 2021- CPLUS-01 Lori Barnes, Development Services Director, reviewed the small scale comprehensive plan amendment (2021-CPLUS-01) for a future land use amendment for property to be annexed into the City. She explained the property is subject to a developer's agreement. The proposal is to change the future land use designation from Rural Transitional in the County to General Commercial in the City. She stated the property is currently used as an auto repair shop. She stated staffs recommendation for transmittal. The public hearing was opened at 5:56 p.m. There being no public comment, the hearing was closed at 5:56 p.m. Moved by Vice Chair Lee, seconded by Member LeHeup-Smith, to find 2021-CPLUS- 01 consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and transmit to the City Commission for action. Motion carried by the following votes: Ayes: Member Cobb, Member Hawkins, Vice Chair Lee, Member LeHeup-Smith and Chairman Holland 2. ADJOURNMENT: 5:57 P.M.
