CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING VIA TEAMS Minutes from Meeting on October 22, 2020 I. CALL TO ORDER The meeting commenced at 10:01 am. Those in virtual attendance were: Michael Duerr, Kay Barnes, and Chelan Robbins. II. ROLL CALL OF THE COMMISSION Present via Teams were Commissioner Ethel McNeal, Commissioner Eileen Simmons, Commissioner Jacob Vail and Legal Counsel Amy Allison . III. SUBMITTAL AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Commissioner Vail moved to approve the minutes of the September 24, 2020 meeting. Commissioner McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. IV. REVIEW OF THE PERSONNEL ACTION REPORT Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Personnel Action Report for October. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. V. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER APPROVAL OF CALLS FOR APPLICANTS Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Chief Examiner Approvals of Calls for Applicants for October. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. VI. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER CERTIFICATIONS OF ELIGIBLE REGISTERS Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Chief Examiner Certifications of Eligible Registers for September. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. VII. NEW BUSINESS A. Class Specifications and Call for Applicants 1. Revised Class Specification for SCADA/Telemetry Technician I Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Revised Class Specification for SCADA/Telemetry Technician I. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. 2. New Class Specification for SCADA/Telemetry Technician II Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Revised Class Specification for SCADA/Telemetry Technician II. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. VIII. OTHER BUSNIESS A. Due to Thanksgiving next month, the Civil Service meeting will take place on November 19, 2020. IX.
