CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING VIA TEAMS Minutes from Meeting on June 24, 2021 The meeting commenced at 10:00 am. Those in virtual attendance was Michael Duerr and Chelan Robbins. ROLL CALL OF THE COMMISSION Present via Teams were Commissioner Ethel McNeal, Commission Chair Eileen Simmons, Commissioner Jacob Vail, and Legal Counsel Jordan Stephens. SUBMITTAL AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the minutes of the May 27, 2021 meeting. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE PERSONNEL ACTION REPORT Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Personnel Action Report June 2021. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER APPROVAL OF CALLS FOR APPLICANTS Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Chief Examiner Approvals of Calls for Applicants for July 2021. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER CERTIFICATIONS OF ELIGIBLE REGISTERS Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Chief Examiner Certifications of Eligible Registers for July 2021. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. OLD BUSINESS Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Battalion Chief (Promotional) Eligible Register. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved, and the Eligible Register was certified. Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Fire Captain (Promotional) Eligible Register. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved, and the Eligible Register was certified. Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Firefighter/Driver (Promotional) Eligible Register. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved, and the Eligible Register was certified. Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Medical Services Officer (Promotional) Eligible Register. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved, and the Eligible Register was certified. NEW BUSINESS Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Revised Class Specification for Groundskeeper/PMT I. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved. Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the New Class Specification for Athletic Program Supervisor. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved. Civil Service Commission Meeting March 25, 2021 Page 2 Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the New Class Specification for Golf and Athletics Supervisor. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion.
