CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING VIA TEAMS Minutes from Meeting on July 22, 2021 The meeting commenced at 10:05 am. Those in virtual attendance was Michael Duerr and Chelan Robbins. ROLL CALL OF THE COMMISSION Present via Teams were Commissioner Ethel McNeal, Commission Chair Eileen Simmons, Commissioner Jacob Vail, and Legal Counsel Jordan Stephens. SUBMITTAL AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Commissioner Vail moved to approve the minutes of the June 24, 2021 meeting. Commission Chair Simmons seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE PERSONNEL ACTION REPORT Commissioner Vail moved to approve the Personnel Action Report July 2021. Commission Chair Simmons seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER APPROVAL OF CALLS FOR APPLICANTS Commissioner Vail moved to approve the Chief Examiner Approvals of Calls for Applicants for August 2021. Commission Chair Simmons seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER CERTIFICATIONS OF ELIGIBLE REGISTERS Commissioner Vail moved to approve the Chief Examiner Certifications of Eligible Registers for August 2021. Commission Chair Simmons seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. NEW BUSINESS Commissioner Vail moved to approve the Revised Class Specification for Parking Enforcement Officer. Commission Chair Simmons seconded the motion. The motion was approved. Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the Revised Class Specification for Public Information / Education Specialist. Commissioner Vail seconded the motion. The motion was approved. Commissioner McNeal moved to approve the New Class Specification for Senior Public Information / Education Specialist.
