CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING Minutes from Meeting June 27, 2024 The meeting commenced at 9:30 a.m. Staff members in virtual attendance were Michael Duerr, Danielle Marks, and Cherie Hough. ROLL CALL OF THE COMMISSION Present via Teams were Commission Chair Ethel McNeal, Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin, Commissioner Josh Curry, and Legal Counsel Amy Allison. SUBMITTAL AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the meeting minutes of the May 23, 2024. Commissioner Joshua Curry seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT No public in attendance. No public comment submitted by correspondence. REVIEW OF THE PERSONNEL ACTION REPORT Commissioner Joshua Curry moved to approve the Personnel Action Report for May 2024. Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER APPROVAL OF CALLS FOR APPLICANTS Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the Chief Examiner Approvals of Calls for Applicants for June 2024. Commissioner Joshua Curry seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER CERTIFICATIONS OF ELIGIBLE REGISTERS Commissioner Joshua Curry moved to approve the Chief Examiner Certifications of Eligible Registers for June 2024. Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. NEW BUSINESS No new business. OTHER BUSINESS Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the Eligible Registers Firefighter Driver. Commissioner Joshua Curry seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. Commissioner Joshua Curry moved to approve the Eligible Registers Medical Services Officer. Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously.
