CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING Minutes from Meeting July 25, 2024 The meeting commenced at 9:34 a.m. Staff members in virtual attendance were Michael Duerr, Danielle Marks, Chelan Robbins, and Cherie Hough. ROLL CALL OF THE COMMISSION Present via Teams were Commission Chair Ethel McNeal, Commissioner Josh Curry, and Legal Counsel Christine Svihus. Jo Metzger-Levin has excused absence. SUBMITTAL AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Commissioner Joshua Curry moved to approve the meeting minutes of the June 27, 2024. Commissioner Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT No public in attendance. No public comment submitted by correspondence. REVIEW OF THE PERSONNEL ACTION REPORT Commissioner Joshua Curry moved to approve the Personnel Action Report for June 2024. Commissioner Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER APPROVAL OF CALLS FOR APPLICANTS Commissioner Joshua Curry moved to approve the Chief Examiner Approvals of Calls for Applicants for July 2024. Commissioner Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER CERTIFICATIONS OF ELIGIBLE REGISTERS Commissioner Joshua Curry moved to approve the Chief Examiner Certifications of Eligible Registers for July 2024. Commissioner Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. NEW BUSINESS REVISED CLASS SPECIFICATIONS A. Commissioner Josh Curry moved to approve the revised class specification for Plant/ Pump Maintenance Mechanic. Commissioner Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. OTHER BUSINESS ELIGIBLE REGISTER A. Commissioner Josh Curry moved to approve the Eligible Register for Police Sergeant.
