CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING Minutes from Meeting October 24, 2024 The meeting commenced at 11:00 a.m. Staff members in virtual attendance were Michael Duerr, Danielle Marks, Cherie Hough. ROLL CALL OF THE COMMISSION Present via Teams were Commission Chair Ethel McNeal, Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin, and Legal Counsel Jordan Stephens. An excused absence was approved for Commissioner Josh Curry. SUBMITTAL AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the meeting minutes of the September 26, 2024. Commission Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT No public in attendance. No public comment submitted by correspondence. REVIEW OF THE PERSONNEL ACTION REPORT Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the Personnel Action Report for September 2024. Commission Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER APPROVAL OF CALLS FOR APPLICANTS Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the Chief Examiner Approvals of Calls for Applicants for October 2024. Commission Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. REVIEW OF THE CHIEF EXAMINER CERTIFICATIONS OF ELIGIBLE REGISTERS Commissioner Jo Metzger-Levin moved to approve the Chief Examiner Certifications of Eligible Registers for October 2024. Commission Chair Ethel McNeal seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. NEW BUSINESS OLD BUSINESS OTHER BUSINESS A. Chief Examiner Michael Duerr advised the commission of an occurrence change due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
