Moore - Historic City Hall Time: 6:30 p.m. City Council Chambers 3002 Wetmore Avenue Everett, Washington AGENDA -Planning Commission Roll Call -Approval of Minutes -Reports of members and committees – Staff comments – Citizen Comments Item 1: Request for Planning Commission to sponsor a code change for the Norton/Grand Historic Overlay Zone. A request has been received to initiate a code change in the Norton/Grand Historic Overlay to increase height and allow work live housing units. Item 2: Public Hearing and Recommendation on a Code Amendment for Signage in the B-3 zone (Downtown Everett). The B-3 sign standards do not allow signs to be at the top of buildings. There has been a request to change the B-3 sign code to allow for uses like hotels to have signs at the top of their building. Item 3: Public Workshop on making interim zoning regulations related to recreational marijuana businesses permanent. A Planning Commission public hearing and decision is scheduled for September 16, 2014. Item 4: Workshop on the Comprehensive Plan 2035 Alternatives and the Assumptions to Accommodate the Population and Job Projections within each Alternative.
