April 20, 2015 minutes Commission Chair Angie Sievers asked for a motion to approve the April 20 Salary Review Commission minutes. Bobby Thompson so moved, seconded by Chris Adams. The motion carried. Public Hearing #2 Angie Sievers opened the second public hearing. There were no speakers. While giving adequate time for people to arrive there was discussion among Commission and Staff members. Everett Salary Review Commission 1 April 22, 2015  Salary Schedule discussion Sharon DeHaan pointed out the City Attorney made changes to the draft Salary Schedule since the last meeting. Under Section 1, Mayor, he changed choice of words. He also added at the very end that the schedule becomes effective 90 days after filing. Chris Adams suggested that under Section 2, City Council Members, it would be clearer to write “per month per council member” consistently in the first and second paragraphs. After being held open for 15 minutes, Angie Sievers asked for a motion to close the public hearing. Chris Adams so moved, seconded by Bobby Thompson. The motion carried. Adoption of Salary Schedule Angie Sievers asked for a motion to adopt the salary schedule with the City Attorney’s additions in the first and second paragraphs of Section 1 and at the end, and Chris Adams’ suggestions in the first and second paragraphs of Section 2. She added that the signature line should reflect her legal name, Mary Angela. Caroline Mason so moved, seconded by Chris Adams. The motion carried. The meeting adjourned 6:18 PM.
