City of Excelsior City Council Special Meeting MINUTES Monday, July 12, 2021 6:30 P.M. 1. Call to Order/Roll Call Mayor Carlson called the work session to order at 6:30 P.M. City Council: Mayor Carlson and Councilmembers Caron, Dierking, Hersman, and Kurschner Absent: None Also Present: City Manager Luger, City Attorney Staunton, and City Clerk Williams 2. Agenda Approval Dierking moved, Caron seconded, to approve the July 12, 2021 City Council Special Meeting Agenda. Motion carried 5/0. 3. Motion to Close the Meeting pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 13D.05, subd. 3(c) Hersman moved, Dierking seconded, to enter the closed session to consider an offer to purchase real estate located at 106 Center Street. Motion carried 5/0. 4. Motion to Return to Open Session Hersman moved, Dierking seconded, to return to open session at 6:46 P.M. Motion carried 5/0. 6. Potential Action on Purchase Agreement Caron moved, Dierking seconded, to approve Resolution 2021-49 Resolution Approving the Purchase of 106 Center Street and Authorizing Execution of Documents Facilitating the Purchase.
