Notice of Intent

November 14, 2024 Notice of Intent To Prepare A Comprehensive General Plan Amendment Fairfield Town intends to prepare a comprehensive general plan amendment, updating the Fairfield Town General Plan. It is expected that the amendment will affect the entire area within Fairfield Town boundaries and areas to be considered for annexation. The process will include extensive research and public engagement. An amendment would need to be presented to the Planning Commission to formulate a recommendation for the Town Council. The Town Council has the final approval authority. The Town anticipates that the process will take place over a period of approximately 4-6 months. Additional information may be available at https://fairfieldtown-ut.gov/. Affected entities are invited to provide information for the Town to consider in the process of preparing, adopting, and implementing a general plan amendment concerning (a) impacts that the use of land in the Town may have and (b) uses of land within the Town that the affected entity is considering that may conflict with the proposed amendment.
