Arts and Humanities Council of Falls Church Meeting February 16, 2017 Dogwood Room City Hall Minutes / Notes Members Present: No documentation was taken on members present Also Present: FCCTV- Genevieve Llames, Andrea Crowe, Susan Finarelli The meeting was called to order by Chair Barb Cram at 9:40 am. FCCTV: Genevieve Llames presented on the upcoming FCCTV workshop workshop aimed at non- profit and civic organizations: “Filming & Editing Your Organization’s Events.” Two 3-hour sessions teaching the basics of filming forums, meetings, etc. It’s tailor made for those with no video production experience. Learn how to preserve history with video HD cameras are now installed in the dogwood room Trainings scheduled for February 28 & March 1 (7pm-10pm) or March 14 & 15 (7pm-10pm). Public Arts Policy: Barb is working on drafting a policy. If you would like to be part of a sub-committee please let Barb know. Announcements  Those that need to be swore into their new position please stop by the City Clerks office and meet with Veronica Prince  Marybeth shared how much the teachers enjoyed the history tour of Falls Church  Start thinking about photos that should be incorporated into Falls Church 2017 Snapshot  Falls Church Arts Grand Opening is on Feb 25 at 7pm  Washington Sinfonietta hosts it’s free concert to the public on Feb 25 at 7:30 pm  Sunday Feb 26 at 4:30 Creative Cauldron will unveil the Dreamers Wall honoring donors with a reception to follow  Mardi Gras Parade - Sunday Feb 26 from 5 to 6 pm Submitted: By Corey Jannicelli 1
