MINUTES OF COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS COMMITTEE MEETING
PURPOSE OF MEETING: To interview prospective candidates for appointment to boards and
commissions and to discuss applicants and/or reappointments.
DATE OF MEETING: November 10, 2021
LOCATION: Virtual meeting held via Microsoft Teams.
NOTICE: This virtual meeting of the Appointments Committee was held pursuant to and in
compliance with the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, Section 2.2-3708.2 and state and local
legislation adopted to allow for continued government operation during the COVID-19 declared
emergency. All participating members of the Appointments Committee were present at this
meeting through electronic means. All members of the public may view this video of this
meeting on the City’s website at www.fallschurchva.gov/CouncilMeetings.

Member Connelly, and passed by vote of the Council Appointments Committee, the
Committee went into closed session pursuant to Section 2.2-3711 (A)(1) of the Code of
Virginia for the discussion of prospective candidates for appointment to boards and
commissions. [Candidates interviewed and considered at the November 10
Appointments Committee meeting.]

closed meeting was convened were heard, discussed or considered in the closed session
