MINUTES OF COUNCIL GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS COMMITTEE MEETING

MOTION: Ms. Schantz-Hiscott moved, seconded by Ms. Hardi, that the Government
Operations Committee approve electronic participation by Phil Duncan in this meeting, for
medical reasons, pursuant to the City Council’s Policy for Remote Participation in City Council
Committee Meetings, as adopted by Resolution 2023-06.
The motion was approved by unanimous voice vote.
TOPICS OF DISCUSSION:
a) Staff vacancy discussion
b) Customer service initiative discussion
c) Update on staffing levels study and discussion of compensation philosophy
d) Schedule 6-month performance check in with Council’s staff
