APPROVAL OF MINUTES: • January 9, 2014 minutes not approved • April 17, 2014 minutes approved OLD BUSINESS: • 2013 Annual Report will be reviewed during the June meeting. NEW BUSINESS: • Rent Relief Approval – Sue Richter presented the Rent Relief program applications. The seven qualified applicants were approved unanimously. • Aging in Place Services – Members gave suggestions about how to further outreach to City seniors about available services. They were: post flyers at City Hall, Giant, churches, doctors’ offices, pharmacies, beauty salons; contact Ann McKleary of Aging Up; ask Boy Scouts to distribute information; contact Chamber of Commerce medical wellness group; send information with Parks and Recs brochure, use Falls Church News Press; contact Ann O’Neil of Care Options and; explore senior village concept.  Page 2 of 2 STAFF REPORT: Sue Richter gave a presentation about Washington Ear, one of the Community Service Funds grant recipients. MEETING ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. The next meeting will be Thursday, June 19, 2014.
