DATE OF MEETING: July 17, 2014 PLACE OF MEETING: Oak Room, 3rd floor East, City Hall MEETING CALLED TO ORDER BY: Kristin Simonsen AT 6:30 pm THOSE PRESENT: HSAC Members: Staff : Vicki Barnes Nancy Vincent Craig Cheney Housing and Human Services Kristin Simonsen, Chair Others: TOPICS OF DISCUSSION: • Call to Order: Kristin Simonsen called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. • There were no petitions. • Approval of Minutes: Approval of June 19, 2014 meetings was postponed until the September meeting. OLD BUSINESS: • Kristin Simonsen briefed the HSAC Annual Report to City Council on July 14, 2014. Councilman Duncan inquired whether the FY15 Community Services Fund application pool included funding requests for newly demonstrated human services needs within the City, and requested that HSAC keep Council informed as we note such issues. • In the coming months, HSAC members will be distributing Aging in Place informational flyers created by City Staff.
