REPORT ON STUDY SESSION ITEMS F. MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER'S REPORT ON ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST Pursuant to Section 551.0415 of the Texas Government Code, the City Council or City Administration may report information on the following items: 1) expression of thanks, congratulations or condolences, 2) information about holiday schedules, 3) recognition of individuals, 4) reminders about upcoming City events, 5) information about community events, and 6) announcements involving an imminent threat to public health and safety, and 7) reports from Council Liaisons to supported organizations. G. CITIZEN COMMENTS This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the City Council on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the City Council should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Card and submit it to the City Secretary or City Administration prior to the start of the City Council meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a limit of five (5) speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. No disparaging or inflammatory remarks directed at any member of the City Council or City staff will be allowed. The City Council is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the City Council may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the City Manager and/or City Administration for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. PUBLIC HEARING(S) City of Farmers Branch Page 2 Printed on 4/1/2019 City Council Meeting Agenda April 2, 2019 I.1 R2019-37 Conduct a public hearing and consider approving Resolution No. 2019-037 for a Detailed Site Plan with Special Exceptions for a single-family residential development on approximately 54.6 acres located along on the south side of Valley View Lane, approximately 450 feet east of Chartwell Crest; and take appropriate action I.2 18-PL 14 Conduct a public hearing and consider a request from EPC-BRIC2, LLC and BRIC2 Land, Ltd. for final plat approval of The Brickyard, Lot 1, Block B and Lot 3, Block A, located between Delancey Street and the extension of Senlac Drive; and take appropriate action I.3 18-PL 16 Conduct a public hearing and consider a request from Paragon Industries II, Inc. for final plat approval of Bedrosians Addition, 9.49 acres located on the north side of IH-635/LBJ Freeway, 750 feet east of Commerce Drive; and take appropriate action J. ADJOURNMENT The City Council may convene into executive session at anytime during the Study Session or Regular meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071(2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item. Farmers Branch City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Access to the building and special parking are available at the main entrance facing William Dodson Parkway. Persons with disabilities planning to attend this meeting who are deaf, hearing impaired or who may need auxiliary aids such as sign interpreters or large print, are requested to contact the City Secretary at (972) 919-2503 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting.
