CITIZEN COMMENTS Public Comment is your opportunity to address your City of Farmers Branch elected officials directly about issues that are important to and your community, but there is a process that must be followed : Speaker request form(s) will be accepted by the City Secretary from the time the agenda is posted up to 30 minutes prior to the regular meeting. Individuals will not be recognized to speak during the meeting unless the Citizen Comments form has been submitted. This process applies to all action items listed on the agenda. PUBLIC HEARINGS I.1 ORD-3723 Conduct a public hearing and consider adopting Ordinance No. 3723 for a Specific Use Permit and Detailed Site Plan for gasoline service station and laundromat (self-service) on an approximate 0.51-acre property located at 14300 Josey Lane; and take appropriate action I.2 R2022-013 Conduct a public hearing and consider approving Resolution No. 2022-013 adopting the comprehensive policy statement on local economic development, tax abatement and business incentives; electing to be eligible to participate in tax abatement; and take appropriate action I.3 ORD-3725 Conduct a public hearing and consider adopting Ordinance No. 3725 to amend Planned Development District No. 100 (PD-100), approximately 54.5 acres located generally on the south side of Valley View Lane, between Chartwell Crest and Hutton Drive, and north of Wittington Place, amending Landscaping and Park/Open Space Standards, relating to fence requirements on corner lots; and take appropriate action City of Farmers Branch Page 3 Printed on 2/11/2022 City Council Meeting Agenda February 15, 2022 I.4 ORD-3724 Conduct a public hearing and consider adopting Ordinance No. 3724 to rezone approximately 8.67-acre property, located at 1820 Wittington Place, from Planned Development District No. 88 (PD-88) to Planned Development District No. 99 (PD-99) to allow single family attached (townhomes) and amending and restating the development regulations of Planned Development No. 99 (PD-99), relating to the use and development of approximately 266.9 acres located generally on the south side of Valley View Lane, east and west of Luna Road, and south side of LBJ Freeway; and take appropriate action J. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS J.1 R2022-027 Consider approving Resolution No. 2022-027 authorizing the negotiation and execution of the Amended and Restated Master Development Agreement with CADG Mercer Crossing Holdings LLC relating to the development of Mercer Crossing; and take appropriate action J.2 R2022-028 Consider approving Resolution No. 2022-028 changing the name of Oran Good All Children’s Park to Joya Park; and take appropriate action K. ADJOURNMENT The City Council may convene into executive session at anytime during the Study Session or Regular meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071(2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item.
