H.3 ORD-3844 Consider adopting Ordinance 3844 calling the May 4, 2024 General Election for City Council Districts 3 and 5; authorizing the City Manager to execute an election services contract with the Dallas County Elections Department; and take appropriate action. H.4 ORD-3845 Consider adopting Ordinance No. 3845 calling a Special Election on proposed amendments to the Home Rule Charter to be held on May 4, 2024, authorizing the City Manager to execute an election services contract with the Dallas County Elections Department; and take appropriate action. H.5 ORD-3849 Consider adopting Ordinance No. 3849 calling a special bond election to be held on May 4, 2024, making provisions for the conduct of the election and authorizing the City Manager to execute an election services contract with the Dallas County Elections Department; and take appropriate action. CITIZEN COMMENTS Public Comment is your opportunity to address your City of Farmers Branch elected officials directly about issues that are important to and your community, but there is a process that must be followed : Speaker request form(s) will be accepted by the City Secretary from the time the agenda is posted up to 30 minutes prior to the regular meeting. Individuals will not be recognized to speak during the meeting unless the Citizen Comments form has been submitted. This process applies to all action items listed on the agenda. Speaker Request Online Form: https://www.farmersbranchtx.gov/101/City-Council There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen (15) total minutes on the same topic item. When called by the Mayor, please approach the podium and state your name and address prior to beginning your comment.
