This download may be accessed from any computer with Internet access, including computers at the Manske Library and in the lobby of City Hall. Any individual who wishes to speak on an agenda item should fill out a Registration Form for Appearance before the Planning and Zoning Commission (white card located in the back of the Council Chambers) and submit the completed card to The Chairman prior to the start of the meeting. A. STUDY SESSION A.1 19-540 Discuss Regular Agenda items. A.2 19-555 IH-35E Corridor Vision Study Update. A.3 19-560 Discussion regarding the Planning and Zoning Commission’s retreat on October 29, 2019. A.4 19-561 Discussion regarding the American Planning Association-Texas Chapter conference. A.5 19-541 Discuss agenda items for future Planning and Zoning Commission consideration. B CITIZEN COMMENTS City of Farmers Branch Page 1 Printed on 7/8/2021 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Agenda November 18, 2019 This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Commission should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Form and submit it to the Chairman prior to the start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. The Planning and Zoning Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the Planning and Zoning Commission may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the Director of Planning for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. C. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS C.1 19-542 Consider approval of the Attendance Matrix for the Planning and Zoning Commission as presented; and take appropriate action. C.2 19-543 Consider approval of the October 28, 2019 Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes; and take appropriate action. C.3 19-558 Consider approval of the October 29, 2019 Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes; and take appropriate action. C.4 19-SP-15 Consider the request for a Detailed Site Plan amendment for signage for a mixed-use development on a 12.11-acre site located at 4050 McEwen Road; and take appropriate action. D. PUBLIC HEARING D.1 19-PL-09 Conduct a public hearing and consider a request from Beazer Homes Texas, L.P., for final plat approval of Windermere Addition Lot 1R, Block B, being a replat of Lot 1, Block B of Windermere Addition, addressed at 12783 Camden Place; and take appropriate action. D.2 18-SP-16 Conduct a public hearing and consider the request for a Detailed Site Plan with Special Exceptions for a restaurant/retail development on an approximate 9.59-acre tract located on the south side of LBJ Freeway, approximately 1,200 feet east of Luna Road; and take appropriate action. D.3 19-ZA-07 Conduct a public hearing and consider the request to rezone approximately 7.4 acres of land located generally at the northwest corner of Valley View Lane and Keenan Bridge Road, from Planned Development District No. 88 (PD-88) to Planned Development District No. 77 (PD-77); and take appropriate action. ADJOURNMENT This Board or Commission may convene into executive session at anytime during the meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item. Farmers Branch City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Access to the building and special parking are available at the main entrance facing William Dodson Parkway. Persons with disabilities planing to attend this meeting who are deaf, hearing impaired or who may need auxiliary aids such as sign interpreters or large print, are requested to contact the City Secretary at (972) 919-2503 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting.
