This download may be accessed from any computer with Internet access, including computers at the Manske Library and in the lobby of City Hall. Any individual who wishes to speak on an agenda item should fill out a Registration Form for Appearance before the Planning and Zoning Commission (white card located in the back of the Council Chambers) and submit the completed card to The Chairman member prior to the start of the meeting. A. STUDY SESSION A.1 20-46 Discuss Regular Agenda items. A.2 20-74 Discuss and provide direction regarding draft amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance related to tree preservation and landscape requirements for One-Family and Two-Family Residence Districts. A.3 20-73 Discuss and provide direction regarding potential amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance related to uses and development standards requiring approval of a Specific Use Permit. A.4 20-80 Receive an update regarding the Planning and Zoning Commission bi-annual update presentation to City Council on January 21, 2020. A.5 20-47 Discuss agenda items for future Planning and Zoning Commission consideration. B. CITIZEN COMMENTS City of Farmers Branch Page 1 Printed on 7/8/2021 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Agenda January 27, 2020 This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Commission should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Form and submit it to the Chairman prior to the start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. The Planning and Zoning Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the Planning and Zoning Commission may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the Director of Planning for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. C. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS C.1 20-48 Consider approval of the Attendance Matrix for the Planning and Zoning Commission as presented; and take appropriate action. C.2 20-49 Consider approval of the January 13, 2020 Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes; and take appropriate action. C.3 20-PL-02 Consider a request from DMC Apartments, LP and T Sorrento, Inc. for final plat approval of the Dominion Addition, Lots 1 & 2, Block A, located on the south side of Interstate Highway 635 and on the west side of Mira Lago Boulevard; and take appropriate action. D. PUBLIC HEARING D.1 19-SU-10 Conduct a public hearing and consider the request for a Specific Use Permit to allow for on-site sale/consumption of alcoholic beverages, within a qualifying restaurant for an approximate 6.85-acre property located at 14221 Dallas Parkway; and take appropriate action. D.2 19-SU-11 Conduct a public hearing and consider the request for a Specific Use Permit for a massage studio on an approximate 3.45-acre property located at 13150 Senlac Drive, Suite 160; and take appropriate action. E. ADJOURNMENT This Board or Commission may convene into executive session at anytime during the meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item.
