This download may be accessed from any computer with Internet access, including computers at the Manske Library and in the lobby of City Hall. Any individual who wishes to speak on an agenda item should fill out a Registration Form for Appearance before the Planning and Zoning Commission (white card located in the back of the Council Chambers) and submit the completed card to The Chairman member prior to the start of the meeting. A. STUDY SESSION A.1 20-118 Discuss Regular Agenda items. A.2 20-135 Discuss and provide direction regarding draft amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance related to creation of an Entertainment Overlay District and allowing certain land uses and related standards within the district. A.3 20-134 Discuss May 2020 meeting dates. A.4 20-133 Discuss the Focus North Texas 2020 conference. A.5 20-119 Discuss agenda items for future Planning and Zoning Commission consideration. B. CITIZEN COMMENTS City of Farmers Branch Page 1 Printed on 7/8/2021 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Agenda February 24, 2020 This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Commission should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Form and submit it to the Chairman prior to the start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. The Planning and Zoning Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the Planning and Zoning Commission may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the Director of Planning for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. C. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS C.1 20-120 Consider approval of the Attendance Matrix for the Planning and Zoning Commission as presented; and take appropriate action. C.2 20-121 Consider approval of the February 10, 2020 Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes; and take appropriate action. C.3 20-PL-04 Consider a request from Todd Bonneau Homes LLC, for final plat approval of Branch Crossing Villas, Lots 1-5, Block A, located on the west side of Veronica Road and approximately 110 feet south of Valley View Lane; and take appropriate action. D. PUBLIC HEARING D.1 20-ZA-02 Conduct a public hearing and consider a request to amend Chapters I, III, and VII of Planned Development District No. 86 (PD-86) as it relates to establishing minimum density requirements and definitions for residential uses within the district, approximately 143.39 acres generally bounded by: Havenhurst Street on the north; Harry Hines Boulevard/IH35 frontage road on the west; Farmers Branch Lane on the south; Rawhide Creek, Valley View Lane, and the rear property line of properties on Nestle Street on the east; and take appropriate action. E. ADJOURNMENT This Board or Commission may convene into executive session at anytime during the meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item.
