A. STUDY SESSION A.1 22-691 Discuss Regular Agenda items. A.2 22-690 Review and discuss the Planning and Zoning Commission’s work program for Fiscal Year 2022-2023. A.3 22-692 Discussion regarding 2023 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting dates. A.4 22-697 Update regarding Comprehensive Plan public engagement efforts. A.5 22-693 Discuss agenda items for future Planning and Zoning Commission consideration. B. CITIZEN COMMENTS City of Farmers Branch Page 1 Printed on 12/9/2022 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Agenda December 12, 2022 This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Commission should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Form and submit it to the Chairman prior to the start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. The Planning and Zoning Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the Planning and Zoning Commission may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the Director of Planning for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. C. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS C.1 22-545 Consider approval of the November 14, 2022 Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes; and take appropriate action. C.2 22-SP-07 Consider the request for a Detailed Site Plan for a mixed-use development on a 3.62-acre tract located at 12099 Luna Road; and take appropriate action. D. PUBLIC HEARING D.1 22-SP-06 Conduct a public hearing and consider the request for a Detailed Site Plan with Special Exceptions for a multi-family residential development on approximately 1.28 acres located at 13290 North Stemmons Freeway; and take appropriate action. D.2 22-SU-06 Conduct a public hearing and consider the request for a Specific Use Permit for outside storage on an approximate 3.36-acre property located at 13998 Diplomat Drive and take appropriate action. D.3 22-SU-07 Conduct a public hearing and consider the request for a Specific Use Permit and associated Detailed Site Plan allowing vehicle repair use located at 3607 Garden Brook Drive; and take appropriate action. E. ADJOURNMENT This Board or Commission may convene into executive session at anytime during the meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item.
