Any individual who wishes to speak on an agenda item should fill out a Registration Form for Appearance before the Planning and Zoning Commission (white card located in the back of the Council Chambers) and submit the completed card to The Chair member prior to the start of the meeting. A. STUDY SESSION A.1 22-712 Discuss Regular Agenda items. A.2 23-092 Discuss and receive presentation from staff regarding Phase 2 Public Engagement feedback and status update as it relates to the citywide Comprehensive Plan. A.3 23-095 Discuss future Planning and Zoning Commission retreat for Spring 2023. A.4 23-098 Discuss Boards and Commissions Banquet. A.5 23-089 Discussion and direction regarding potential amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adding regulations related to tree preservation. A.6 23-093 Discuss agenda items for future Planning and Zoning Commission consideration. B. CITIZEN COMMENTS City of Farmers Branch Page 1 Printed on 2/9/2023 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Agenda February 13, 2023 This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Commission should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Form and submit it to the Chairman prior to the start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. The Planning and Zoning Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the Planning and Zoning Commission may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the Director of Planning for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. C. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS C.1 22-545 Consider approval of the January 23, 2023 Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes; and take appropriate action. C.2 23-094 Nomination and Election of the Vice-Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission; and take appropriate action. D. ADJOURNMENT This Board or Commission may convene into executive session at anytime during the meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item.
