A. STUDY SESSION A.1 23-829 Discuss Regular Agenda items. A.2 23-862 Continued discussion and feedback, from the November 13, 2023, Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, regarding draft landscape amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance. A.3 23-831 Receive an update from the Planning and Zoning Commission Landscaping and Tree Preservation Subcommittee (LTPS). A.4 23-863 Discussion regarding 2024 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting dates. A.5 23-832 Discuss agenda items for future Planning and Zoning Commission consideration. B. CITIZEN COMMENTS City of Farmers Branch Page 1 Printed on 12/7/2023 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Agenda December 11, 2023 This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Commission should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Form and submit it to the Chairman prior to the start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. The Planning and Zoning Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the Planning and Zoning Commission may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the Director of Planning for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. C. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS C.1 23-595 Consider approval of the November 13, 2023 Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes; and take appropriate action. C.2 23-PL-10 Consider the request for replat approval of Goodland Townhomes, Block A, Lots 1-25 and 26X, located at 13351 Goodland Street; and take appropriate action. D. PUBLIC HEARING (ITEM TABLED FROM PREVIOUS MEETING) D.1 23-ZA-05 Conduct a public hearing and consider the request for a zoning amendment for a multifamily development on approximately 2.49-acres located at 12055 Luna Road, described as Lot 2, Block A, Royal Hospitality Addition, within the Planned Development District No. 88 (PD-88) zoning district; and take appropriate action. E. ADJOURNMENT This Board or Commission may convene into executive session at anytime during the meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item.
