Any individual who wishes to speak on an agenda item should fill out a Registration Form for Appearance before the Planning and Zoning Commission (white card located in the back of the Council Chambers) and submit the completed card to The Chairman member prior to the start of the meeting. A. STUDY SESSION A.1 24-171 Receive comments from Mayor Terry Lynne. A.2 24-166 Discuss Regular Agenda items. A.3 24-167 Receive an update regarding draft landscape amendments to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance. A.4 24-168 Receive an update from the Planning and Zoning Commission Landscaping and Tree Preservation Subcommittee (LTPS). A.5 24-169 Receive a presentation regarding a potential amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance related to home occupations. A.6 24-175 Presentation regarding stormwater drainage policies. A.7 24-170 Discuss agenda items for future Planning and Zoning Commission consideration. B CITIZEN COMMENTS City of Farmers Branch Page 1 Printed on 2/23/2024 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Agenda February 26, 2024 This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Commission should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Form and submit it to the Chairman prior to the start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. The Planning and Zoning Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the Planning and Zoning Commission may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the Director of Planning for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. C. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS C.1 23-595 Consider approval of the January 22, 2024 Planning and Zoning Commission Minutes; and take appropriate action. D. PUBLIC HEARING D.1 23-ZA-07 Conduct a public hearing and consider the request for a zoning amendment for industrial development on approximately 20.8 acres located at 11800 Ford Road within the Planned Development District No. 74 (PD-74) zoning district; and take appropriate action. E. ADJOURNMENT This Board or Commission may convene into executive session at anytime during the meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item.
