A. STUDY SESSION A.1 24-170 Discuss Regular Agenda Items. A.2 24-844 Planning & Zoning Commission annual training session from the City Attorney’s Office. A.3 24-843 Receive a presentation from Alex Pharmakis, Sustainability Manager, regarding the SolSmart Program. A.4 24-842 Discussion regarding the American Planning Association Texas 2024 State Planning Conference (APATX*24). A.5 24-179 Discuss Agenda Items for Future Planning and Zoning Commission Consideration. B. CITIZEN COMMENTS City of Farmers Branch Page 1 Printed on 10/24/2024 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Agenda October 28, 2024 This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Commission should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Form and submit it to the Chair prior to the start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. The Planning and Zoning Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the Planning and Zoning Commission may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the Director of Planning for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. C. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS C.1 24-845 Consider approval of the September 23, 2024 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes; and take appropriate action. C.2 24-SP-06 Consider the request for a Detailed Site Plan for multifamily development on approximately five acres located at 2000 LBJ Freeway; and take appropriate action. D. ADJOURNMENT This Board or Commission may convene into executive session at anytime during the meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item. Farmers Branch City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Access to the building and special parking are available at the main entrance facing William Dodson Parkway.
