This download may be accessed from any computer with Internet access. Any individual who wishes to speak on an agenda item should fill out a Registration Form for Appearance before the Planning and Zoning Commission (white card located in the back of the Council Chambers) and submit the completed card to The Chair member prior to the start of the meeting. A. STUDY SESSION A.1 24-170 Discuss Regular Agenda Items. A.2 24-946 Discussion regarding 2025 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting dates. A.3 24-179 Discuss Agenda Items for Future Planning and Zoning Commission Consideration. B. CITIZEN COMMENTS This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Planning and Zoning Commission on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Commission should complete a Citizen Comments Registration Form and submit it to the Chairman prior to the start of the meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak with a reasonable limitation on speakers on one topic or item with a maximum of fifteen total minutes on the same topic item. Anyone wishing to speak shall be courteous and cordial. The Planning and Zoning Commission is not permitted to take action on any subject raised by a speaker during Citizen Comments. However, the Planning and Zoning Commission may have the item placed on a future agenda for action; refer the item to the Director of Planning for further study or action; briefly state existing City policy; or provide a brief statement of factual information in response to the inquiry. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS C.1 24-947 Consider approval of the November 11, 2024 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes; and take appropriate action. D. PUBLIC HEARING C.1 24-ZA-15 Conduct a public hearing and consider the request for a zoning amendment for multifamily development on approximately 10.59 acres located at 1990 Wittington Place within Planned Development District No. 88 (PD-88); and take appropriate action. C.2 24-ZA-18 Conduct a public hearing and consider the request for a zoning amendment for mixed-use development on approximately 10.18 acres located at 1920 LBJ Freeway within Planned Development District No. 99 (PD-99); and take appropriate action. C.3 24-ZA-12 (POSTPONED) Conduct a public hearing and consider the request for a zoning amendment for a self-storage development on approximately 9.72 acres located at 11410 Mathis Avenue within the Planned Development District No. 22 (PD-22) zoning district; and take appropriate action. Consideration of this item has been postponed to the next regular meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission on Monday, January 13, 2025. E. ADJOURNMENT This Board or Commission may convene into executive session at anytime during the meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071 (2) for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item. Farmers Branch City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Access to the building and special parking are available at the main entrance facing William Dodson Parkway.
