Present: Stephen Curry, Director; Sandra Knipe, R.N.B.S.N.; John Bogdasarian, M.D., Chairman; Ian Murray, Dr. Bogdasarian opened the meeting at 5:00 pm. Meeting Minutes Review and Approval: Sandra Knipe made a motion to approve the June 18, 2020 meeting minutes. Motion was 2nd by Ian Murray. All were in favor. Motion carries. Ian Murray made a motion to approve the July 2, 2020 meeting minutes. Motion was 2nd by Dr. Bogdasarian. All were in favor. Motion carries. COVID-19 Update: Mr. Curry stated as of October 15, 2020 there are 13 active cases in isolation, 2 probable active cases of COVID-19 in the City. There has been a total of 909 confirmed cases and a total of 816 recovered and 83 deaths from COVID-19 in the City. Mr. Curry stated we are still in a low risk community. Police incident report #20-40700 (1 Canton St): Tabled to a future meeting. Local Upgrade Approval (LUA) – Title 5 Request: 650 Ashby West Road: Mr. Curry stated this is an LUA for 650 Ashby West Road. Ms. Knipe made a motion to approve the Sieve analysis performed on May 22, 2020 rather than the perc test due to the high ground water and wet conditions. Motion was 2nd by Ian Murray. All were in favor, motion carries. Ms. Knipe made a motion to allow the reduction in vertical offset between tank inverts and groundwater, 12” offset required 0 – 6 “ proposed with the exception of a watertight seal in the invert. Motion was 2nd by Ian Murray. All were in favor, motion carries. The next BOH meeting is scheduled for November 5, 2020. Ms. Knipe made a motion to adjourn. Motion was 2nd by Ian Murray.
