Farrell Finance Committee: 151-13. ORDER: Appropr. $6,000, same to be credited to CIVIC DAYS and charged against AVAILABLE FUNDS. (Be Adopted) 152-13. ORDER: That the City of Fitchburg hereby approves the expenditure of funds from the MA Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, FY13 Pedestrian Safety Grant, in the approx. amount of $5,000, for the purposes of said grant. (Be Adopted) 153-13. ORDER: Transfer $30,000 to EMPLOYER’S FICA from UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION. (Be Adopted) 154-13. ORDER: Transfer $20,000 from UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION to the following MGL chapter 41, section  100 accounts: $10,000 to POLICE MEDICAL and $10,000 to FIRE MEDICAL. (Be Adopted) 155-13. ORDER: That the City of Fitchburg approves the expenditure of $2,000 from the Henry Coggshall Trust Fund to construct an accessible Ramp to the Patio behind the Coggshall Stone House. ORDER: That the City of Fitchburg approves the expenditure of funds from the MA Dept. of Public Health, for the Health-Opioid Abuse Prevention Collaborative Grant, in the approx. amount of $700,000, for the purposes of said grant. (Be Adopted) 165-13. Fitchburg Board of Health, to approve the Intermunicipal Agreement between municipalities participating in the Montachusett Public Health Network (11 Cities and Towns) desiring to share key public health services and the costs associated with these services. ORDER: That the City of Fitchburg approves the expenditure of funds for the Airport Phase I Aviation Easement Project from the grants in the approximate amount of $474,678.75 as follows: $438,165.00 from the Federal Aviation Administration and $36,513.75 from the MA Dept. of Transportation-Aeronautics Division for the purposes of said grants. 167-13. ORDER: Approving the expenditure of funds from the National Endowment of the Arts for the Main St. Art Project, “Our Town” grant in the approximate amount of $75,000.00 168-13. PETITIONS 176-13. Councillor Joel Kaddy to narrow and raise crosswalks on Main Street at Blossom, Prichard and Oliver Streets. (Public Safety Committee) 177-13. Councillor Dolores Thibault-Munoz to install a berm and paving to create a sidewalk and parking meters in the adequate spaces on the corner of Elm Street and Oliver Street in front of the old Fire Station. Fitchburg Affordable Housing Corporation to sell the parcel located at 0 Omena Place (formerly 2 Omena Place) Map 10 Block 113 Lot 9 to Fitchburg Affordable Housing Corp. for the sum of $500.00. Mr. Daniel Curley, Executive Director Fitchburg Redevelopment Authority, to release, with the intention of terminating, the easement the City of Fitchburg reserved in its deed to FRA dated May 29, 2013 to remove sand and gravel from the land conveyed by that deed. (City Property and Public Works Committees) 180-13 Mr. Ryan McNutt, Director of Housing, to adopt an Order designating a Housing Development Zone, approving a Housing Development Incentive Program Zone Plan (attached) and authorizing the submittal of this plan to the MA Dept. of Housing and Community Development and to publish notice of a public hearing on this matter to be held on June 18, 2013.
