Lenny Laakso, DPW Commissioner, to accept grants of easements and to acquire drainage easements by purchase, gift, or taking by eminent domain, from owners of real property in the vicinity of Shea St. and Autumn Drive, Fitchburg, as shown on the conceptual site plan attached, said easements being necessary to correct a water drainage problem. TVR, LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability Company, that owns the land on the westerly side of Water St. previously owned by the Pelletier’s Building Supply Co., Inc. as outlined in the Petition, requests the Zoning Map for the city of Fitchburg be amended to expand the Central Business District on the easterly side of Water St. opposite its land to include its land. Councillor Marcus DiNatale, to petition the City Council to extend the Moratorium on Medical Marijuana treatment centers adopted on June 19, 2013, for six months, incorporating the reasons previously given for the existing moratorium. Additional time is needed in order to craft a zoning ordinance consistent with land use planning goals and objectives.
