The agenda will consist of: 187-21. AN ORDINANCE: Chapter 47-1.A. Ward Boundaries-Boundary Descriptions are hereby amended as follows: (See enclosed Ordinance) (First Reading) Per Order: Anthony M. Alford Provisional City Clerk The Special meeting of the City Council was held in the Legislative Building, 700 Main Street, Fitchburg MA and called to order by President Zarrella at 7:02 PM. The salute to the Flag was led by Councillor Fleming. The Clerk called the Roll and nine (9) members were present. Councillors DiNatale and Green were absent. Board consists of 11 members. President Zarrella read the Warrant for the Special Meeting. 187-21. AN ORDINANCE: Chapter 47-1.A. Ward Boundaries-Boundary Descriptions are hereby amended as follows: See link below: https://www.fitchburgma.gov/DocumentCenter/View/8984/187-21_October26 Patrick Hare, Chief of Staff to the Mayor presented the updated 2021 Ward and Precinct map. The new maps were drawn by the state and reviewed by the Reprecincting Team. The changes will go into effect December 31, 2021. City Solicitor Vincent Pusateri commented on the map and how to see how the State made its determination for the changes. Patrick Hare, Chief of Staff to the Mayor, and Tom Skwierawski, Executive Director of Planning and Community Development, answered questions from the Councilors. Ordinance passed to a first and second reading and ordered advertised by roll call vote of 9 in favor and 0 opposed. 9 members present. Board consists of 11 members.
