FITCHBURG CULTURAL COUNCIL MINUTES
TUESDAY, JUNE 20, 2023
CITY HALL LEGISLATIVE BUILDING, 700 MAIN STREET

In attendance: Tamar Russell-Brown, Elizabeth “Liz” Murphy, A.J. Tourigny, Shara Osgood, Audrey Pendletion-
Chow, Joe Bowen (ex-offico)
Call to Order:
● Tamar called the meeting to order at 4:41 pm
Invoice:
● Eddie Troxler provided an invoice for services at our public input meeting
● Motion made by Shara to accept and pay the invoice, seconded by Audrey
● All-in favor
● 0 opposed
Grants:
● Tamar read an email from Fitchburg Military Band change of location
○ Motion to accept change of location made by A.J., seconded by Liz
○ All-in favor
○ 0 opposed
● Tamar thanked Eillen for her service to the council
● Audrey provided updates on events coming up
● Liz provided details that all grantees need to spend down funding by June 30th, or request a
grant extension. Otherwise, the remaining funds will be reprogrammed.
Events
● Tamar asked each member to attend a public meeting/event during the summer and bring/hand
out surveys.
