No attendees (in person or on-line, except Dan) PUBLIC COMMENT; None NEW MEMBERS: Always looking for new members. Rolling appointments & terms. For info, inquire at: fitchburg.mcc@gmail.com One new potential member in attendance GRANT REPORT; View recording for details Checks should go out by 4/25 With chair Joe’s support, the final Grant report was filed for FY24 cycle Regarding the one FY24 outstanding grant we filed for collections, the Chair made contact with the grantee before this was filed and we are working to obtain their final report at this time. Motion: Mike to approve the grant report Second: Millie In Favor: 11 Opposed: 0 Passes Unanimously VOTE: TREASURER’S REPORT: Treasurer’s Report: No activity in local funds. Combined balance $2,561.47 FY24 grant account balance $9,184.00 FY25 grant account $58,600 (will adjust after grants are awarded) Combined totals $79,872.12 (see recording for more details) Motion: Dan to approve report Second: Shara Approve: 11 Opposed:0 Motion Passes Unanimously VOTE: MINUTES Monthly Meeting 3/24 and Grant Review Meeting 3/31/25 subcommittee Motion: Liz. To accept both Meeting Minutes 2nd: Ricardo In Favor: 11 Opposed:0 Motion Passes Unanimously MEMBERSHIP SURVEY RESULTS: All members participated, sharing skills & experience. Comment Liz: section of what I would like to see us do. Don’t want to check too many, not wanting to commit myself to too much What areas would you like to see us do & What would you like to repeat Those two could have been combined Marketing/advertising, grants, administration & outreach (see recording for details) Publicity coordinator & subcommittee Grants: fundraising, grant writing & funding training Funds to supplement our MCC funds Administration: Opportunity to train additional members for grant writing, and to train a successor for Dan as Grant Coordinator (his term is up in 2026), also treasurer & secretary have limited terms Outreach: youth engagement & legislative advocacy. ( see recording for details) ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPCOMING EVENTS: subcommittee meeting on 5/5 5-6pm Announcement MCC: governor has proposed leveling funding for local cc, change way to divvy, we may not see same amount next cycle. Reason to be optimistic This Th farmer’s market at FAM & free admission.
