Minutes:
After a review of the December 17 Minutes, a discussion ensued where Ms. Raabe requests a list from
Mr. Packard of the schools that were included in his investigation. Thereafter, Mr. Perry made a motion to
accept the minutes, Ms. Robinson seconded the motion and the minutes were unanimously approved.
Meeting Activity
A motion was made by Dr. Braga and seconded by Mr. Perry to present the GPA plan to the School
Subcommittee vote was unanimous.

the following is an accounting of the brain storming session:
● The mission of the PTO is to fundraise, recruit, and allow a venue for decision making.
● Perhaps make use of the advisory period to provide a multilingual flyer to go home inviting
parents to join.
● Make use of social media to invite.
● We are seeking representatives of each culture within the city.
● We want to create a welcoming environment first reaching out at parent teacher night with an
information table.
● Need to create a platform to facilitate communication with everyone.
● In March can we tie into world language week create a multicultural event to present the PTO to
parents.
After the meeting, Mrs Maskewich provided the following via email to Dr. Braga: recorded here for
continuity.
PTO: (Draft) of how the first day for the PTO should look like:
1. Cultural food 15 minutes ( nice but not necessary)
2. Presentation 15 minutes ( nice but not necessary)
3. Welcome 2 minutes

6. Open Forum 15 minutes
7. Survey
8. Set time for the next PTO
