BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS City Hall, 718 Main Street Fitchburg MA 01420 (978) 829-1820 Daniel Sarefield, Chairman Richard Boscardin John Zarrella MINUTES OF MEETING A special meeting of the Board of License Commissioners was held on June 10, 2020 over the Zoom meeting platform, and called to order by Commissioner Sarefield at 10:02 A.M. Commissioners Boscardin and Zarrella were also present. FPD Liaison Lieutenant Howe was present. Also in attendance for the discussion session: Jackie Cullen, River Styx Brewing; JP Seedorf, 99 Restaurant; David Celuzza, Slaterry’s. Representing the City of Fitchburg: Mary Jo Bohart, Director of Economic Development; Nate LaRose, Recreation Director and Information Technology liaison; Mark Barbadoro, Building Commissioner. I. DISCUSSION AND APPROVAL PROCESS FOR ANY TEMPORARY ALTERATION OF PREMISES LICENSES, AS REQUIRED. Commissioner Sarefield called the meeting to order and noted that he had three (3) applicants who had submitted their paperwork for the Special Outdoor Seating permit and he was glad to see that they were moving forward with the process. Commissioner Sarefield then gave a brief overview of the ViewPoint approval process showing how each department had already approved certain documents. Mark Barbadoro, Building Commissioner, also explained how the applications could be approved live during a meeting. Dave Celuzza, from Slatterys, stated that they had filled out their information, and were now ready to have an inspection to finish the application. Mr. Barbadoro said that he would expect that someone from his office would be able to revisit the location as soon as possible. Mary Jo Bohart stated that she had been in contact with Stephanie Holinko, Board of Health Food Inspector, and expected that she would be able to go out for an inspection that day.
